If you are experiencing issues trying to connect Facebook to AIM, you aren’t alone. Looks like our friends at Facebook are having some issues right now effecting third party products like AIM. We’re pretty confident they will get things back on track soon. This shouldn’t be an issue if you added Facebook in the past. Thanks for your patience.

If you are having issues logging into AIM. We are currently working on addressing it. We’ll get you back up and running soon.
AIM for iPhone users, if you’ve upgraded your iOS, you may have noticed you continue to get new IM notifications even after you’ve exited AIM. A bug in the new iOS creates two sessions of AIM running simultaneously. We’re working on a fix on our end, but in the meantime, you can work around this problem by doing the following:
Open a new chat and send the number 1 to username aolsystemmsg. This will get you back to one session of AIM running.
Thanks for your patience. We’ll post here when the new version is ready.
AIM for Android users, we have a new version available in the Google Play store.
What’s new?
Custom groups are back! If you set up buddy groups in previous versions of AIM, your contacts will now be sorted using them.
More flexible chat storage options. Keep chats private between you and some of your contacts or choose to keep them ALL off the record.
